Story
Hi there!
My friends in Nepal and Peru need your help. They are the guides, porters, cooks and administration staff who have played a big part in making my past adventures the amazing experiences they have been.
Due to the world-wide pandemic and the loss of tourism, these communities have lost their income and receive little or no government support.
In February, I will be joining World Expeditions for a charity climb of Mount Kosciuszko to raise much needed funds for their Grants 4 Ground Staff appeal.
Your support will make a tangible difference as 100% of the funds raised will be dispersed to ground staff in Nepal and Peru.

The World Expeditions Foundation (WEF) is the not-for-profit entity of the World Expeditions Travel Group.
It is the aim of the World Expeditions Travel Group to integrate ‘regenerative’ projects into every one of our global operations by 2030 and raise funds through the World Expeditions Foundation to support these projects. The aim of regeneration is to leave a place and its people better than when it was found; to ensure the resources we enjoy today will be available for the generations that follow. By harnessing the collective power of travellers, WEF proactively and intentionally supports regenerative projects that support communities and improves the natural state of the places we travel.

Incorporated on 21 September 2007, World Expeditions Foundation Ltd ABN 36 127 619 925 (WEF) operates as a not-for-profit partner of World Expeditions Travel Group Pty Ltd ABN 98 001 424 568. On 3 March 2014, WEF was registered by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
The World Expeditions Foundation operates with a tight philosophy of ensuring that all donations are channelled in full to the projects. The board members all volunteer their time to operate the project, while the financial management is handled internally by the World Expeditions finance team. With this structure, there are no administration fees.
Donations are tax deductible for residents of Australia.
